  • Dynasty 200 dx settings

Greetings..... been reading this forum and everyone seams pretty cool. I've picked up a Dynasty 200 DX and am amazed with all the flexibility in settings, or maybe freaked out! I'm upgrading from a Miller 320 B/P if that rings a bell to anyone. (it's about an extra 800 lbs. and 10 times larger) I brought DX into the our shop at work and my partner and I started playing with all the settings.... WOW! Seams to get the really sweet looking aluminum welds, you have to use the pulser with this Inverter welder?

Can any of you recommend a good starting point "setting wise" for aluminum. With and without pulser. Regardless, I'm getting some sweet welds with that smooth square wave!

    Thanks, Jon

As far as setting go, the manual for your machine willl show you the defaults that are set in your welder. Those are good starting points.
