  • I love pot metal $$$$$$

Or at least they think it is. When the phone rings i can do it bring it in. This is one half of a swiss steak maker from a local resturant. The bearing was wore thru letting the arm snap off. So i made a new brass bearing and welded the pot metal, so he told me it was. Easy fix....Bob

I just used my spoolgun and 4043 wire with a little preheat from a torch. Vee'd it first and filled it up...Bob

Nice fix there Bob. I kind of wonder if it was pot metal but you would know better working on it than I. Satisfying project for you though & thanks for sharing.

What, am I the only one who gets real pot metal to repair? I'm jealous I want an easy fix for once.
