    ok . I was going to say you`ve blacksmithed and don`t know this stuff . but thankfully I don`t have to . It is a very COOL thing to learn /do I just got my 110lb. anvil & hammers today

    Since we are on the topic of forges...

    Does anyone have a source for forge coal? A friend of mine wants to dabble in it a little but needs a coal source. I've found the powered stuff that power plants use, but not the chunks. Obviously it would have to be some sort of mail order type operation that dealt in small quantities.

    Here are pics. of my coal forge I finshed Friday . It was all migged by me . It is made from 1/4 inch plate, 3 inch c-channel, and something my cousin found at his work which is 3/4 inch cast iron for the firepot.
    The forge `s name is the Redneck Inferno !
