                  Wierburner,
I do shop work, no portable (yet). I have a regular 40+ hour/week job. I am in charge of maintenance at a factory. I weld, fabricate actually, on the side. The first half of this year I made more than the 40 hr job. This half of the year has been kind of slow. I am not complianing as I need to get the new shop built soon. Som of the equipment I have:
                  syncrowave 350lx tig
                  aircrafter330 tig
                  hobart handler130 mig
esab svi 450 with wire feeder
thermal dynamics cutmaster 51 plama cutter
                  marathon 300mm cold saw
                  bandsaws
                  compressor,blast cabinet etc...

My little 2 car garage is very full with the welding table in the center. Which is why the shop needs to go up soon.
I have never been on a post board before, I am sure I will be asking lots of questions.
                  Tim.

                      Thats cool,
My buddy (20 yrs older then me, i'm 39, best friend you will ever meet) he has a small forge shop. I learned alot from him. I am in no means a forger. That takes a life time.

                      Keep at it.
PS. I did not mean to sound conceded. i was only trying to let people know what I have going on.
                      Tim.

                          Thanks Jason, I mean that.
I am that last person that would be called arrogent by anyone that knows me in person. If you all meet me in person I am a "redneck" that like to do things right to the best of my ability. My typying skills, spelling also, I noticed is not the best. My wording is kinda short for that reason.
I take any and all info in, and file it all.
This is a great learning area.
                          Thanks to everyone.

PS. you sound like alot like me (from previous posts,I looked at all of them), in person I also say what I think, will help anybody that I can. Boyscout thing.
Never was one but idea is sound.
                          Great info, Thanks. Tim
