  • Good day, bad ending

We've got a little job going in Ft. Worth building a 90,000 sq.ft. freezer expansion at a cold storage facility. We had 36 sticks of 10", 6 sticks of 6" (3 per lift) and 4 valve stations. On the VERY LAST !@#$*& lift, the bundle of 6" shifted just as the helo set it on our racks and I broke two fingers. Major bummer! Anyway, here are a few of the pics I took of today's activities:

I can appreciate how you're feeling... especially with your type work...it's hard to do without good working fingers. BUT, I'm glad you still have them..they'll heal.

I had carpal tunnel surgury last wednesday..went well but have a bandage that looks like a tennis ball taped to the base of my palm.. sure is cumbersome.. and it's amazing how you take your hand for granted until everything you do causes you pain... 10 more days and the stiches come out, then about a 6 weeks of incision heal time... this is the second hand to get done.

hope your heal time is quick and you can return to normal function soon..
          good luck

            Thank you all

            for the kind words.

John, may your recovery be quick and complete.

I have two weeks of healing time before I go to Southern California for a couple of weeks to start up a system we just built.
