I am a salesperson for a welding supply company and one of my customers has me stumped. He is looking for a ceramic heat sink for welding. I have searched everywhere and can't find any info. Does anyone have any ideas? Help!!

He prob means copper. ESAB make ceramic back up strips but i don't think they are heat sinks, but they would soak up heat i guess...Bob

You can find the puty that is used for sheet metal mostly, just enclose the enitre weld area and it keeps the heat from going past it. so it dosent warp.
you can find this at eastwood.com
