The Chinese are (mentally) more or less where our country was about 100 yeas ago. The company probably hired the guy on as a welder and didn't give him any safety equip. at all. He's just doing what he can to get by.
And bear in mind that in China:
There is no OSHA, no Worker's Comp. system, no health insurance,
and no civil law or tort system to speak of.
We have more lawyers in NY City than they have in their whole country.
And the few lawyers they do have mostly just handle crimminal cases.
."Gone are the days of wooden ships, and Iron men.
I doubt we'll see either of their likes again".

with a little luck they are #5 sun glasses. i have a few pairs of #5 safety glasses, not shore if the cardboard is to keep his face from burning or make shore it burns evenly.
definitely a different stander over there, but then again thats all part of working for $5 a day. and why so much of our manufacturing is going there. soon we wont be able to make or grow anything at home any more.
big cudows to the company's that refuse to go that way. there are still some in all facets of manufacturing, the wife was working for a textile company that stays here in the U.S. so it can be done just not done enough.thanks for the help

I have a pic that is similar. Its called Khun Ming welders. I found it on the net. Two guys with news paper and sunglasses stick welding...
Pay close attention to that "made in china" label..Will it weld? I loooove electricity!
