    Bareback Jack,
No, not too late, I won't order till end of next week probably. The Brute still does the largest schedule 40 though (2") .
Thank you so much for your post, and I would REALLY love to see those pics of yours!!!

Hope its not too late, but here's my experiance. I just bought a JD2 Model 3 a couple weeks back. It was sopposed to be here on a tuesday I think, and when it didnt' come I called them. They never put the order through. To make up for it, they express shipped it that day and I had it two days later. So, the service is....ok. It is a very nice bender and makes high quality bends. I've already built two bumpers with it (used it to bend the grill guards). Pictures on another post if I can figure out how to do it.

Oh, yes they make round tubing dies, pipe dies (sch 40) and square tube dies.

    Charles, thanks!
Just spent over an hour (time to go to sleep soon)
seems like some confrontation over there as to not answering e-mails, not returning phone calls and orders arriving couple months late...Think I rather pay the extra money and order directly from Pro-Tools and deal without the headaches.
    'ppreciate the tip though!!!!!

    Bert,

Are you wanting to buy a pipe or tubing bender? Does Pro Tools or JD2 sell pipe dies?

You might want to check out the vendor section of this web site. They give discount prices for pirate4x4.com members for Pro Tools and JD2 benders.

    Pipe Bender Again/Last Time

Ok guys, sorry for dragging this on, but I want to spend the money the right way the first time (wife won't let me have a 2nd chance)...Looks like I'm going for the Pro-Tools Pipe Bender and I've heard that the Model 105 was widely used. I was just wondering if the new model 105B "The Brute" was that much better, and if anyone has one and or used one. I want to get the Hydraulic Kit with it and a couple of die sets. What do you guys use for pipe rack sizes for trucks?Looks like the Brute can do bigger pipe (sched 40) than the 105 can.
Hope someone used it before, otherwise I just have to rely on what Pro-Tools tells me. I heard from you guys that their customer service is 100%, and I have a friend that bought something from them and agrees.
    thanks for advance,
    bert
