Just finnished this lounge chair. I made it with 1.5" .065 wall square tube. The bottom rail is 1" .065 wall round tube. I covered the frame with flat expanded metal. The back adjusts to 4 positions plus flat. The pad should be ready in 2 weeks. Don't pay attention to the Brand-X welding equip in some of the pics. It was purchased before I saw the light. All my equip since has been BLUE.

Thanks cosmosuave. The ones we were looking at ran around $800 to $1500. I have $150 in steel and hardware and $150 to powder coat it. The real expense is a good pad. The custom pad I ordered was $375. I guess I should have taken a sewing class in High School instead of Metal Shop. It was a fun project to do. I got a little TIG experience in.DAVE Dynasty 200DX with Coolmate 3

I used Glendale Powder Coat. I've used them several times and they have been very reasonable. They told me the cost was in all the expanded metal I used for the seat and back. I'll definately shop their price next time.DAVE Dynasty 200DX with Coolmate 3
