I just got my first Miller welder (used 250x) and I'm wanting to add on a shelf to hold a set of mig pliers, a pencil, tape measure, anti spatter etc. I also want a nice place to hang up the leads and my helmet. I don't want the shelf to get in the way of opening the door. I've seen a few different types of modifications (in fact, my dad and I made one for his MM 185), but I wandered if any of you had any slick ideas. Pictures would be sweet.

Here's my hose holder. Since i don't have my bottle on the back of my MM185 i don't have anywhere to hang my gun and ground. So i fabbed this simple hanger up from some stuff laying around the shop. You can add a simple shelf anywhere on it for your goodies too and it will swing out of the way. I put a bracket on the bottom rack and the rod then comes up thru the chain hole to keep it more secure plus it will turn in the bottom mount and can be removed in a few seconds. The bottle will still fit if i ever want to put it back...BobBob Wright
