not sharing....
Darn, making me hungry!!! Die grinder huh? what...about 4 hours to cut it out??We tried using oxy/acet, plasma torch and came out REALLY ugly (and it didn't match up very nice). Someone mentioned usning the 41/2" grinder with cutoff wheel, worked MUCH nicer. Just wondering if you used the same thing...no recipe huh???? FINE, I WON'T SHARE MINES EITHER!!!
Got a killer recipe for octopus!!! (I know, maybe you lost your apetite)
thanks a lot,
bert

Nice grill! Have you ever used mesquite to cook over? If you have access to it, by all means, try it!! ALL of the top steak places in this area use mesquite. I need to go eat now.

We had time!
Janet and I finally had a few hours to kill. We had picked up some barrels to make a grill out of a while back and decided to do it. Nothing real fancy but only about 3 to 5 hours max to finish. We found an old grill frame in the neighbors "scrap" bin and asked if we could take it.
After 2 very good fires in it to burn it out and clean it, it's is starting to get use. Here it is in action.
After a short vacation (they are all short) at her families camp in Maine, and a cook out for 15 - 20 people we decided to make one for up there next year.
Is it me or is it more fun to work on projects than jobs sometime?Attached FilesTags: None
