Re

My Syncrowave 250 was about $3500 ready to weld , includeing an argon bottle, so unless the welder is in really good shape you might be getting the raw end. I dont know how the Lincolns compair price wise , but I'm sure you would be satisfyed with the machine. Then again if you cant sell the truck body and the welder is in good shape , it might be the way to go, especially if the truck body is outside in the weather getting rusty and loosing value. To all who contribute to this board.
My sincere thanks , Pete.

licoln
Just remember this if you decide to swap. The lincoln is one of the hardest machines to get parts for I have delt with them for years and it always take about 5 calls & 2mnths for the parts to get to my door step so if the machine is not in the best of shape don't go there.Besides if you can make that kinda money on the truck I'd hold out for a better swap.
P.s with miller I get my parts within a week or less."Molten Metal Fusion Technician"

Without some substantiation, that statement is sure to get you flamed! I'm ducking!
Miller guy here for sure, but there are some seriously fine machines out there with red paint jobs. Lincoln has all but owned the pipelining industry (not exactly warehouse production-line environment...) and is the still the only serious DC generator manufacturer. Ones built in the 60s are still in high demand.

Mac, I see you have a 460 Ford ... Great truck from Canada, eh, mine is a 1996 F250 supercab, short box w/60,000k on it. Best truck I ever had, I did buy a Chevy once when they told me it was Fords that kept getting swiped here. It lasted in my driveway all of two months before they got it, so I figured I'd go back to Fords, go figure.Regards, George

Mine's a year older, I put the 110,000th mile on it this afternoon. F-250 Supercab with the long bed, only 2WD.
