If i were you check at the local stables and horse places they will have alot of old ones that they will probly sell cheap or give away if you explain what your doing and maybe make some stuff for them. The horse place i rode at after we sold our horse had a ton of em. Also just and idea ive heard of ideas for usin em for picture frames. And yes another fyi if you make something make shure you have the horseshoe or shoes pointing up cause theres a saying that when you keep them open end up they ketch all the good dreams. I dont know how buisness would be if they were down then all there would be was bad luckhaha
welding...its awsome

I have made several things from horse shoes. Have even made some shoes from scratch, as I do a little smithing. From my experience the used shoes sell better than new ones, people are all about rustic decor these days. Take it from me though if the shoe cost 3$ and you sell them for 5$ you will eventually go in the hole make sure to charge enough for wire, gas, grinding and cutting wheels, paint and most of all your time. I found out the hard way
if you start out selling stuff cheap people will always expect that. I have a couple horse shoe items on my site check them out maybe they will give you some ideas.
