I was looking at Mac `s public profile and I notice he had 2 referals he is the only 1 I`ve seen with referals , I was just windering what this was

i have also referd lots of people here but never knew there was a special way to go about doing it?? i just told them about the place and gave them a link to the front page for them to check out and regester if they like it.
never knew there was a referal counter or reason for counting them??
yet another function going unused.
