I needed a welding table that was mobile and able to fit under my work bench. I used 3/8 plate for the top, 1/2 flat bar for the under edge and 1" square tube for the legs. Nothing heavy duty but perfect for my purpose. I also used 1/2 flat bar for a grounding spot on the lower right leg. I tigged the whole thing which took longer than it should have but it was good practice working out of position and using left and right hands. There's something to be said about laying on your belly/back using your knee/elbow to hit the pedal, never know when you'll actually have to use that skill for paid work. Thought of either painting it DeWalt yellow/black or Miller blue but went with Harley orange(Rustoleum real orange)/black instead.
