Tailgater II

Whooped out a little tailgater for Bro.Billy Sat., after I finished a SS pit for my nephew(for tailgatin Texians games) last yr. he expressed(begged) a desire to have a pit for lunch time cookin in the field. Sooooo since I had just finished the infamous pig pit and time on my hands I managed to create the little dude. I used a pc of 10"x 1/4"w.t. tube, that I liberated after the completion of the Summit to Church house project in Houston, and other scrap pcs layin around. I will use the same SS screen(from traveling water screens) for the grill that the SS pit used.

Reminds me of when I was about 14 and going out on the job with my Father during the summer and he was welding. we were out of town and staying at the Motell. on the back of his welding rig he had some female reciver tubing in the deck of the rig. he took a piece of male reciever tubing and welded it to the bottom of a boat trailer rim on its side with a piece of #9 3/4 expanded metal, a few charcoal briketts and some stakes and man that thing cooked great. not much just a simple desine but when you are a kid out with your Father on a grill he made in a few minutes, that thing cooks good and makes some great Mimories
