  • New to Site

Hello all I'm new to this site. Actually I've been lurking a while checking out some of the members projects and taking in a lot of info. Lotta good info here, great site. I've mainly done just stick welding in the past. Done some mig in a trailer plant and some tig on alluminum back in high school, waaaay back. Just wanted to introduce myself. About a year I purchased a Miller Bobcat 250 new. I only have around 6 hours on it, and that has been the last wek or 2. Bought it just in case of anouther hurricane, the 10'000 watt generator will come in handy. Just finished a winch bumper for my yota. I'll try to post pics as soon as I figure out how. Warning its not painted yet.

Didn't think about looking at the welds, was in a hurry, temps in the mid 90's,
dodging thunderstorms and working on it after 12 hour days. Was driving vehicle back and forth to work. Just exuses huh?

            One Serious Bumper

Nice job! Transistion blends well with the with the fender. Even got pockets for turn signals, nice touch.

How did you get the bends on the ends of that beefy front tube?

                FRont Tube

I mitered the backside of the pipe as needed and cut with Victor, then had my helper ( daughter ) heat it with a rosebud as I put the bend in it. Thanks for the compliments. Going out to the shop to mess with my wally-world wire welder ( CH ) after I get my styhl weedeater fixed I hope.
