The top is 21.5" x 35.5". That size was determined just the biggest rectangle I could get out of a piece of irregular scrap plate I found for cheap at the local steelyard. I was able to use the PlasmaCam at a local high school to trim it square.
The table top is at 36" high (I actually planned that).

looks great. throw a sheet of expanded on the bottom to hold your chop saw or any of the many things that go with it.

Return of the son of the Welding Table pt. 2
Hey folks,
I've been mostly lurking for the past six months or so and the result is now my entry into the welding table sweepstakes. (Pics attached)
I've been researching all of the incredible designs I've seen people making on the board here and finally just had to start making it before I succumbed to complete 'analysis paralysis'.
It was made from 1.5" tubing with a 1/2" plate top. Plenty of clearance for clamping. I think I may still put in a shelf made of expanded between those bottom stretchers.
I tacked the top on to keep it from sliding.
The casters are new 2” x 4” steel w/polyurethane treads that I bought from Enco (great deal). Two swivel and two fixed.
The finish is Krylon ‘True Blue’ spray paint which almost matches Miller blue (Pantone PMS 300).
Thanks for all of the inspiration!
