i'll second that. not only is it cheaper but you can take a quick pic and have it in the computer ready to show off in seconds. and then just throw it away after, no $$ waisted on developing or anything.(see atached) i supose the only problem is yoiu tend to take pic's of almost any thing as its free to do so. if you want a regular print just make a CD with the pic's on it and take them to wally world or many other places and they will make you prints from your digital's. heck some places even let you e-mail in the pic's and they will have them printed and waiting for you when you get to the store.
keep in mind most of the new camera's are so clear a pic its a huge file size. most cameras have an option to chose the clarity i set mine on the lowest setting and its still more then my screen can reproduce clarity wise and i can have like 650 pic's in it at one time without unloading it, thats with a old 128mb sims card you can now get 1&2gb cards, the 1gb's are only like $30 at wally world. with one of them i could probly hold 6,000 or more pic's lets see ya keep all them strait.
any how digital is defenetly the way to go.
oh ya i almost forgot it makes movies too, compleat with sound, is that crazy or what. and i got a fairly cheap one, most of them are way better than mine, as you can probly tell by the fact i have a 128mb memory card still.LOL and the camera is about the size of a standerd throw away box one. my neace has one about the size of 2 mach boxes stacked on top of each other about 1 1/2" X 1 1/2" X 1/4" its crazy small, i would be afraid of loseing it, even though its gat a key ring on it so you can use it as your key ring. crazy isent it, every thing has to be smaller.LOL

my parents sprung for a camcorder/snap shot camera a while back thats really nice its got a 7gb storage card for pics. especially since i didnt pay a dime just had to learn how to use it then teach them how.
