    Arbor press frame.

I went and picked up the steel i cut out 8 years ago for an arbor press frame. I punched all the holes at work years ago then put the frame in storage for a later time. Well a later time is here and i will be welding it up. I want to try out my mig with .035 gas flux core wire and see how it does. I already know how the .030 S-6 would run on it so i want to compare. Pics as i go...Bob

        Arbor press frame.

Funny, I just looked at the harbor freight press, and decided that I could make it a lot sturdier and with the 20t air/hydraulic jack that they have on sale for $70 right now. I also like the bending brake that the guy at Swag Offroad has designed to fit into the HF press.
It won't save me any money making it myself, but will be fun and I'm sure a lot better quality.
I'm glad you have motivated me to undertake the project! Thanks!!!

My local dealer ordered it for me. Not much more $$$ than solid wire. I ended up welding it with .030 solid wire...Bob
