These are some photos of a bucket i replaced the inner flanges with some bigger ones .The thumbs was tearing the bucket apart when carrying large rocks.I made them from some 1" plate i had.In the last photo you can see the size differents compared to the factory flanges.

man it's fun to repair and weld on those things! i think i like the permanence of the heavy stuff. besides it's hard to burn through thick stuff! nice looking truck, too. see ya' around, keep posting pics.

Adam, It looks to me that the pivot of the thumb may have been welded a little to close to the bucket giving an incredible amount of pressure where the bucket flares out.
The operator may be a little heavy on the hand, Putting a death grip on the rocks might be the problem.
As always your truck looks good.
As far as work goes this is the slowest I,ve been since I started in business back in 1988.
We still have work but the profit margins arent like they use to be.

Good work. I've seen the truck before but still like pics of nice equipment.
Slow work here too, side work seems slow. At my real job the work there never changes...Trucks/ equipment are always broke downScott
