Boy do we need an air drier at work. If the compressor has been running for a few minutes and no a lot of air is being used you can take an air blower and shoot a stream of water clear across the shop! We even showed our foreman the other day.
just a thought, i run a basic velocity change drier with a filter element for general use and then have a refrigerant based drier for the more critical processes that I turn on when needed. I couldn't complain, gave $20 for the drier at an auction and all it needed was a new power cord.

If you have a truck junkyard in your area you can put a truck air dryer on it . They are made for lots of air volume and have dessicent cartriges in them.
who makes a good drier for my air compressor? I have a Motorgard filter on the plasma but need something on the compressor itself that has a dissecant in it.
