  • Syncwave 200 amp stick welding?

I just purchased a Syncwave 200 and the DC stick (Dig) welding graph shows maxuim output of 300+ amp. Am I reading this graph correctly?

I'll do some more checking, but its rated for 40% at 150A with a maximum output of 200A in everything I read.

Where is this graph? I don't see one in the manual section which describes the dig control.

        I see it, page 6, section 2.7

I don't think those would be consdered usable amps. The voltage has dropped too low at that point on the curve. It's just the mathematical possibility on the curve, is my guess.

300 AMPS seems more like the max output for the Sync 250 rather than the Sync 200. As MAC stated, I think that is a theoretical number rather than what may actually be available/useable.
