Miller250X purchase or not

I have the opportunity to purchase a relatively unused miller 250X mig welder.
for $850 this unit does not have the digital gauges but has the running gear and all accessories. I have read a few negative posts and wonder what the biggest complaints are with this machine and would this be a good purchase? again the unit is virtually unused.
I would appreciate any help.

I am not famillar with the 250X. What kind of machine is it? CC, CV, AC? If it happens to be a Synchrowave 250DX then it seems to be a good deal.

The Miller 250X is a Mig welder I am guessing it is probably 6 years old.
