where do i buy chrome moly tubing for a good price
Since you're in Michigan, call The Chassis Shop at 1-800-530-9494, they're located in Mears Michigan. Or the Dillsburg aeroplane works in Dillsburg Pa at 1-717-432-4589. Their prices are virtually the same, but I'm sure you'd save on shipping using Chassis Shop. Shippings gonna cost you big unless you can use shorter than 8 foot lenghts. check www.chassisshop.com for pricing
Had a project a while ago with the WMU solar car and nobody could beat the price from Dillsburg. We also get a lot of stuff from them at work. I would 2nd them.
vodomagoo, your best bet is Dillsburg, they're probably only 2 hours from you. You could probably take a saturday morning drive and come back with everything you need. You won't find better prices any closer
Anybody try Mormon Keystone??????????There all over the USA,,,and real good prices on everthing in pipe, and tubing, all types of material,ss.chrome moly, sch everypipe,,Worth a shot,,,Jack
I don't really know how there prices compare but I've been buying from Shapiro supply in St lewis Missouri. They always seem to have what I want and they seem like really good people. http://www.shapirosupply.com/

Sounds good thanks for the info, just found an article on the place and wow seems impressive. Any idea for a DOM tubing source in the nyc metro area?

VERY Good to deal with. No minimums, still have drops and a basement you can spend hours going through (way more than just a metal shop)
