  • I'm a happy camper, brought my new MM 210 home today!

Finally got my "dream welder". Came home with a new MM 210 today!! I'm a happy camper. We had company tonight so I couldn't set it up, but tomorrow evening I should be makin' some sparks with it. I can't wait, I know tomorrow will really drag out at work.

Congratulations on the new machine. You will love it, just as so many others here and on the Hobart board do.

You will enjoy the MM210. I tested the HH187, and while I think it's a great welder, the MM210 made more sense as you already have the HH180. Down the road you may want to consider selling the HH180 and getting the HH187 for protability, but if I had to pick one machine, it would be the MM210. I sold a mint PowCon that put out 250 amps mig or DC stick to get the MM210.

Nah, I'm gonna sell the Handler 180. I don't really need the 180 and the 210 both.

                            Hey James, . . (fun4now)
I believe these guys will need to get some welder covers from you to protect the new Welders

and everyone that has got a cover from you loves it.

                            hint , hint

Well, I got the MM 210 set up tonight. I gotta get the garage cleaned out so there's some room to work around it. Anyway, it's set up so I just had to run some weld to make sure everything worked. It was getting late, and the neighbor's house is pretty close to my garage. I try not to make a bunch of noise when it's late, so I didn't really do proper material prep. Man, I was having a hard time seeing my joint, tryed a few different setting on the Harbor Freight AD hood, guess it'll take some experminting. Made a couple crooked beads down the joint, then made one beside them. I think I need to move faster, this mig thing is new to me, I'm still trying to go like I'm stick welding.

Since everybody always wants pics here they are. First 2 pics are the "new baby", 3rd pic is the crappy beads.....but at least I got to make some sparks before I came into the house!!
