I think they were running board brackets. Probably came from Auto Zone or Wal Mart, had they come from anywhere else they probably wouldn't have welded.

The welds look nice and really clean. I dont know what the part is or how it broke, but my concern would be that it will break again unless reinforced w/ gussets, etc., especially if it broke under normal use. If something other than normal use happened, then it will probably hold. Once again, nice welds.Comment

Very nice. Its sweet when you get a nice piece of cast aluminum. Usually the castings weld like they were made from old pop cans.Comment
