So if anyone knows me on this site, you know I'm a big import fabricator/mechanic, well we have a new project that might interest some of you American muscle fans. Its early in the stages but as soon as I get more pics I will update this thread.

Car is going to be twin turbo, looking to hit 155mph in the quarter, so he is going to need a chromoly roll cage, and a parachute setup.

So how are you going to go back to imports after this!!

I have always wanted to build an LS1 turbo car, prefferably a very large displacement (i think they go to 499 cid now) motor in a road race worthy (wait for it) 69 Camaro!! Of course! I don't think you will have any trouble going 155 (in the 9's ??) and a **** of a lot faster. I assume your using an aftermarket block? What are the specs?

To me this seems like way more fun. Stock motors for long life and super $$$
to performance ratio. You could put a Turbo on if you are nuts.

Watching that video of the bikes reminds me of my days riding a 92 Suzuki GSXR 1100 i had i seen 165mph on that bike and that was enough for me.Luckly i,m still here too talk about those days

Looks like a nice piece, you building a 25.5 spec cage for the Camaro? you going to chase any of the series races, NMCA, ORCA ect... Good luck to ya, have fun too. I'm building a Muctang to go NMRA Drag radial racing. That welding over my head thing is still kicking my butt. Thank God for leathers
