Cary's shop is what all shops want to be - large, well laid out, well lit, big doors, an office, etc. Plus he's always ready to answer most any question

That should tell you something. He doesn't have a girl friend, thats why he is able to have a nice big shop, well lit, full of tools etc. He doesn't have to spend his money on girls clothes, Cancun vacations, new cars that can't be written off, redecorating.........the list goes on and on.

Ohhhhh, how well I know!!!! When I ordered that MM210 a few months back, I figured it would be a few days before it arrived....plenty of time for me to "soften up the ole gal" with a night out, dinner, etc.... Instead, it showed up at the farm like the next day !!!
I get a call on my cell phone: "What ta h_ _ _ is this box I that I just had to use the tractor to offload from an 18-wheeler with Miller Electric stamped all over it?"

Yeah, women and tools/shops; they just don't seem to mix real well.....not sure why.

Don't feel too sorry for Cary, he has had some goods lookers available, but he wants them to have a new truck and be able to weld. Mowjunk was trying to fix him up with a sister at one point.

That's my girl, so long as it has some sort of realistic use, I get "go for it" or "only if you show me how it woks" or at the very worst, "well its up to you, if you think it would be a good thing" and it is especially smooth when it fixes her stuff. Right now the re & re of the service truck is getting a bit on her nerves (turns out they like to see their guys for more than 3 hours a week ), but she doesn't show or complain. Doesn't get much better than that IMHO, and things will be better all around once this thing gets up and rolling.

CW1, don't get me wrong, its not like you can stop spending money on a good girl, but the good ones will spend on you too. Usually I try to give double what I think I'll be getting, and it has served me well. Besides, her advice has kept me from making a bad purchase more than once, so you have got to say thanks once in a while. A union of two people shouldn't bring a ball and chain, but rather wings, at least that's how I see. Course, you've got some time to practice with the arcs and sparks before you need worry about buying stuff other than electrodes

                          Well said Coalsmoke.

The good ones are hard to find but their out there.

Hey guys the best of all, a best friend that buys you a welder, because it brings you happiness. Better yet, she is my wife Judie. I don't weld for a living and have as much machinery as some that do= a loving and understanding wife, my most valued possession!

Sberry, nice to see your shop getting some credit within your speciality.

                              Be well all,
