  • Miller bobcat 250 part?

Anyone know where to find a valve spring for the ch730 engine? Preferably some where that can over night or 2 day ship. Also would someone happen to have a link to a list for engines in the same family that use the same valve spring?

Would also have to have the engine brand as Miller just used off the shelf engines from suppliers

Looking up a parts diagram, you probably need a

You may also need a cap in case yours was damaged or was the cause of needing a spring.

Available from tons of places, fits tons of models... and probably none of them are going to ship anything until tuesday, being a holiday weekend and all. None of the ones on amazon are shipped from amazon, so they won't go out this weekend either.

Locally, try any place that repairs commercial lawn equipment. The spring fits a huge range of kohler engines, many of which are popular for lawn stuff. If you need one ASAP, see if any of them have a boneyard engine you can grab one off of.

Working on it now. Trying to look up the family model to see what engines share parts. A few horizontal engines near me that are fairly cheap. Lol just want to get that fixed to see if I can get it going..... wanting to find out if I got got andnif so how bad

The same spring is used in hundreds of models, it seems. It's even used in kohler-powered ATVs, which I didn't know existed until now.

Even the valves themselves are compatible between many models:

If the spring went completely missing and not just cracked, the valve and piston should be inspected.

Yeah was thinking the same. Possible to check through the spark plug hole with a endoscope (snake camera) can borrow one from work if so?

welp looks like I got got pretty good. Looks like the valve smacked the piston which means the valve is probably bent or stuck....... just gets worse the more I think about it

Good news is that parts engine you're looking at probably has the same valves.
