California, was getting my gas from Matheson. About a month ago just happen to see an invoice. I normally don't see them. They charged me $224.00 for a 'T' bottle of argon. A year ago it was $54.00. Called my sales rep and asked WTF. He told me it was corporate. I'm getting my gas from Linde now and that 'T' bottle is $51.14.Comment

I've been seeing a lot of "surcharges" added to things lately. I had to job something out to another shop for ECU problems on a kubota. The final invoice had a fuel surcharge, environmental fee, and shop supply fee that totaled more than one third of the whole bill. I took the machine to them and picked it up. All they did was computer work on it. As bad as things have gotten, I don't think we're even close to how bad they're going to get. Just my two cents, and likely worth less than that.
