  • How to test a miller R-115 wire feeder with no welder power source

I have 2 miller r-115 feeders that came with some other equipment. They have what appear to be 115v twist lock connectors (not 14 pin) At my home, I do not have a power source that has 115v output and I would like to test whether the feeders will power up and the motor/gas valve function. I understand that I can put 115v on pins A and B to pwer the feeder. What can I do with pin D and E to simulate the contact closure. Thanks

I posted this thread but have since figured out my own question. Pins D/E are just the closed contact indication to welder (not for power to the feeder) I did not have easy access to the manual when I posted the question. Thanks/sorry for any confusion

Looking at the wiring diagram it says to move wire 38 to terminal 1T-D for dry contact.
