Tig Cart, one or two 9” tanks?

For me it would be a matter of convenient storage space. I rarely have to move my welder.

If it's on a cart, it's because you want to move it around. Don't put another tank on it.

I've never had two tanks on a cart, even the fab shops I used to work in only had singles.

I used a long hose with quick connections and left my bottles chained to the wall. Was just easier for me

I have one on my tig cart and I wish I had put two. But I’d carry both argons there so when I run out in the middle of a job I can swap it very easily. I do have helium to mix in there when I need it, but I so infrequently use it that stays chained to the wall.

Unless you're going to be doing a lot of thicker aluminum and want to keep a helium argon mix on hand, or an argon hydrogen mix for stainless

If you have to ask, then no. Just keep the spare argon tank in the next room out of the way.
