  • Pipeworx 350 and XMT 350 comparison

Does the pipeworx 350 do everything the XMT 350 field pro does?

Hello, Brandon. Thanks for reaching out! The PipeWorx Welding System is designed exclusively for pipe fabrication shops, whereas the XMT 350 is suited for various heavy industrial applications. Both machines are capable of MIG, Pulsed MIG, TIG, RMD, stick, and flux-cored. We recommend checking out the spec sheets to determine the best fit for your needs.

It looks like the pipeworx isn’t capable of running a gouge and can only run a smart feeder suitcase. Is that the only difference or did I miss something?

The Pipeworx was really designed for a smart feeder, so yes, stick and tig work well, really isn't any mig without a special and rather expensive feeder.

Still have to do preventative maintenance on both, as in tighten the brass nuts behind the output studs and red locktite them, as well *** all 5/16 head bolt on the right side mot board and phillips head screw on the mods. On the plugs themselves especially Hubble, the screws that hold the input wires in place are always loose. this causes noise for the machine.

What is the pre failure information?
