    Hello everyone,

I’m trying to locate the faceplate for my old AEAD-200LE welder! Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have found all the other parts I need for it, just need a faceplate. Part number 035142

    Good luck with that one.

You're pretty unlikely to find a new faceplate for a machine that old. Yours actually isn't in half bad shape, assuming those are pictures of your welder and not ones you found to use as an example. Try cleaning it up with some ATF on a rag.

What have you tried to clean off the soot? It looks like you have been able to rub it off in a couple spots already. I had a buddy who sourced someone to make faceplate decals for a couple of his Lincoln. It wasn't too cheap. Is this what you're trying to find?

Thanks guys! Yes they are pictures of my welder, not sourced from the internet. I don’t need one to look pretty, the holes in the faceplate where all of the connections are burnt are oblong and the nuts can barely hold the terminals in, that’s why I need a new one.

If you can't find a replacement plate, would it work to tack a washer on the back side in place, make a patch for the hole? Heat may mess up the face. You may be able to get a new face plate with the decal. Here's the company that has decals, possibly complete face plates.

jjohn nailed it. It looks like welderplates.com has a plate for your machine, 100 bucks. https://welderplates.com/inc/sdetail/29933/35069

I'd never heard of them either, and neither the link in the post nor their main site loads here, just returning a blank page, both today and yesterday... but, if it has that faceplate and loads for you, you'll need to paint the rest of the machine appropriately shiny to match.
