On the top left corner of the PCBA there are 4 resistors in parallel (R2-R5). These should measure less than 1 ohm. If they are high resistance, you can replace them or order a new PCBA.

I also would check for loose wire connections, plastic wire connecters and dirty or corroded board contacts.

Multimatic 215 MIG wire feed motor not feeding

Have a 4 year old Miller Multimatic 215 that I bought new which stopped feeding wire.

The wire feed motor works: I hooked it up to a remote power source

Tension setting and liner are ok

No short in the MIG gun trigger

When trigger is depressed the gas feed valve opens and feeds gas

I did "tap" a few relays that I thought might feed the motor without any luck (read this on another board)

Does this sound like I need to buy a new "board"?

    Thanks

Working...
