    Helios,
I agree with your skepticism and truly appreciate that meme! That being said, from the couple of companies I've dealt with on board repairs, Innovat was the best to work with and the most honest and upfront from first communication. I had made a decision to never repair boards ever after multiple bad experiences with a couple of outfits, but I'm currently using a local company(I like to spend my money locally if at all possible) and they repaired a Lincoln board for me that Innovat said they could not repair. I do not do board repairs unless the OEM is unavailable...too much to go wrong and give me a black eye with a customer.

I'm not questioning the quality or "do-ability" of the board repair, whether it's done by Innovat or anyone else.

What I question is whether it's worthwhile to spend $$$$$ to fix a board, then install it and leak the Magic Smoke as soon as you power it up because some other link in the (very, very, very long) chain was what was wrong in the first place. Then you're back to Square One, except $$$$$ poorer.

You hear about these expensive rigmaroles with inverters all the time. It's like playing Russian Roulette with a fully loaded 45 auto. Sooner or later ya gotta cut your losses, throw the POS in the landfill and start over from scratch.

      YMMV.

That’s fair, I sent mine for one number being out and the fine adjustment knob being broke off. It’s not like it was fried.
