will spoolmate 3035 work with miller 252?

i found a like new spoolmate 3035 on facebook will it work with 252 miller?
this is what miller claims i dont quite understand where it says "not reccomended"

The column on the left are listed Miller welding power sources in that class, the column on the far right gives you what peripherals, if any, you need to operate that spoolgun, and on the same line as the power source you want to use, Miller has stated they think you should probably not chose that option.

It is not recomended because you can easily over amp the spool gun with that machine. It will function just fine. I used mine on bigger machines before I bought a bigger gun.
