But I do own a 2016 Dynasty 210DX, that needed a board replaced while still under warranty.

Personal opinion, If buying a dynasty, the top of the line machine I think all models (210 and 280) should come with the ability to adjust the EN EP amperage in AC mode independently. If I want that option I have to pay $642 for a SD card with the software that will allow this.

Fortunately most of my work so far is stainless, if I need to upgrade maybe I'll look harder at the HTP 400. Maybe Miller is only concerned with large corporate clients.

I was curious as to why my 400 doesn't require the expansion card to adjust EN and EP amperage in AC. Maybe they do not consider the 400 a hobbiest machine?

Whatever the reason it was that way with the 350 as well (it has the option), the 200 and 210 don't have it and when the 280 came out it was an option too.
I recently came across a great deal on a 700 and went for it, almost ready to have the power connected

I been fighting the fight brother.. just got me a new toy for my XMT. I picked up a optima pulse pendant. Now I have a reason to go out and tinker around. Thanks for the kind words on my rig.

I like the optics but the head gear seems to be a little bit over the top to be honest. I like the simplicity of the Fibermetal head gear. I have a weird melon so nothing ready stays on right. I worked and modified the gear and did get it comfortable finally. Would i buy it again? Yes I would. The lenses and optics are worth it. This is first auto hood I have liked.
