  • Air Needle Scaler

    Hello,
I am going to start a couple of cast iron and steel projects soon. As I weld up the cast iron block I also want to destress it. Cold weld 1/4" to 1/2" at a time and distressing as I go. Is there a decent recommendation for a brand of air needle scaler? I also will use it on my backhoe repair. Is it the next best thing to shot pinning?
    Thanks

Yeah, but you can't honestly expect everyone else to try to be as cool as you.

Oh man, I can’t imagine someone would set a goal that low!

That needle gun probably does a much more consistent job of it though.

One day I hope my welding gets as good as my grinding.

...but you'd rather grind than paint!
