Direct from Chinese sellers working from I phones in a closet, that's where

And if you want a machine, 90 pages of machines, some with knobs and others with push buttons and even digital readouts.
You won't even need 6 years of Mandarin lessons.

My thought too. China quality is getting better and US quality worse.

Over 90% of welding wire is initially drawn in either China or India regardless of the name on the box.
Probably half is drawn to final size there as well.

Stay calm Linus. It could be worse.
Any chance you can haul Pigpen along to the shower with you?

I'll pop for the 50¢ for his towel. He is really stinking the shop up and putting people off lunch.

You reckon any of that junk is worth packing home? It's like I could smell Chinesium getting hot and leaving a bad taste in my mouth. You kown that smell that pigpen has?

China can and will manufacture exactly what you speck and INSPECT. Chinese consider cheating specks their part of the deal and catching the cheat your part.
We know China can and does make a lot of machines for Supergiantinterglobal.

Look a little farther at what's being offered in helmets and regulators.

Where was your computer made? How about the Neverlast?
Can you prove the raccoons parentage?

Raccoon is 100% North American guarantee it lol. I knew the Neverlast was gonna come up. Believe it or not it's been dependable. The supplied torch smelled of harbor freight and performance was on par with that of a precision pot metal hatchet. Consumables lasted about as long as a fart in a whirlwind hence the HT torch conversion. I figured what the help... it's a power source and its stupid... torch is stupid too. It doesn't care what its hooked to as long as it gets required air and current it should work. Thats where the magic happens on the torch end and how well the consumables play with each other. Turned green Chinesium into a cutting machine. Kinda impressive. It cuts like a 100 amp machine should. If it let's the smoke out tomorrow I'll pitch it and mark it up as a bad investment... I'll be keeping the Torch.

Sort of interesting considering the first plazma I fought with weighed 1400 pounds and had 3 gas bottles connected. Air torches took a few years to get roadworthy, and I did once own a Miller ZipCut. That blue pile of crap wound up right back on the dealer's dock.

New one here has a OneTorch and was built by Esab. Old TD Pak 75 was getting a little heavy on consumables so I bought the new 3Ø machine that is light and portable and nobody can borrow cause the #$% thing is 3Ø. Fun part, 3Ø was $100 cheaper.

Far as Neverlast is concerned, even though my famed product is featured on their site https://www.everlastgenerators.com/f...nce-of-dry-air
I just never cottoned up to the company. Might have been how they appeared like a Phoenix out of the cloud of the TV repairman peddling machines, or it might have been the initial representations made by the owner. The entire China thing back then from Riland imported by a madman teacher on the left Coast to a few more who have come and gone failed to impress me one bit. I also don't relate to packing machines back in boxes and paying to ship them for service. Never been hands on with one, but the color reminds me too much of John Deere to get me far in that direction.

My neverlast purchase is a experiment. They have a couple good folks working there and a couple of "cram it down your throat" jackasses that praise the " will go Toe to Toe with Miller, Lincoln..." hmmmmph. "Ok you have a 100 amp plasma cutter... miller doesn't. I dont see green in industrial settings pounding out dual shield or 200 foot sub arc passes either. They have a big ego and that lack of support doesnt back that ego. That's the reason they will be hobbyist machines that get pitched when they smoke.

Some enterprising guy started selling superflex power/water/gas hoses on eBay for a little over half the CK cost. He set up (had one made overseas) hose sets for my CK150 and CK230, we'll see how it goes. He's carrying the risk for at least 30 days, so I'm good with him owning the QC responsibility/risk for the little extra he makes on the deal.
