  • Millermatic D-52A problems

This millermatic has as nylon drive gear with 2 torrington locking bearings that drives the shaft and wire rollers attached to it.Serial #jb381584. The nylon drive gear and one of the bearings are wore out. The grooves on the inside surface of the nylon are worn off. I can see the part # on the bearings but nothing on the nylon. Any information or part number for the nylon gear?

Well......I brought the old D-52A (Frankenstein) back to life ....for now......by loctite glueing the Torrington bearings to the nylon gear. See how long it lasts

McMaster-Carr surely has a replacement bearing and nylon gears you can fit in there.
