  • Trailblazer 251G (any information available?)

    Hey Everyone,

Going to look at a Trailblazer tonight. Model number on the side is 251G, I'm not finding a manual or any information on this machine searching the Miller site or Google. I'll attach a picture so you can see what I'm looking at. Looks more similar to a Trailblazer 250 than a 251 but has 10k generator not the 4k of the 250. Any info is appreciated!

    Assume you looked here?

    https://www.millerwelds.com/support/manuals-and-parts

I couldn't find a 251G manual there either. Miller has manuals that are not on the website, and will usually email them to you within a day if you call Tech Support and ask. Have your serial number ready.

1-800-332-3281 was correct the last time I used it a couple of years ago.

It looks identical to the 250G as far as covers, front and frame style. I've got 99% of Miller manuals and I don't have that one.

Yup, looks just like the 250G. I'm assuming the only difference is the 10k generator vs. 4k. Strange that no manuals or really any info can be found online, wondering if it was a limited production machine?

          I have a 1997 Miller 251 gas but it only has a 4500 generator.

Mystery solved. Went to look at the machine and it turned out to be a regular Trailblazer 250G.

Cover panels had been replaced at some point and that's how it ended up with the 251G labels.

Well, that was easy! Did you find a serial number, so you can download a manual?

I ended up not buying the machine. For my needs the 10,000 watt generator is more important than the welding side of the machine. Too bad because it was a nice looking/running machine. $1500 bundled with a 22 series wire feeder and gas bottle.
