Ain't no way I'm paying that kind of scratch for a CNC plasma table! I already have one in mind that that is a lot more affordable.

Which one you looking at? There are a bunch of these things in that price range. But still too expensive for my shop.

The tables by delusional designs. I don't really have space for a 4x8 in the garage, so I might get the 4x4. Unless I stuff the 4x8 in the backyard where the compressor is. The subpanel is an entire powerstation by itself, with plenty of 240V/120V power available:

Compressor running, right before shut-off. I still have 60A free from that subpanel.

              That’s a fancy subpanel.

If I could get one, I would probably do the 4x4 size too in my current shop. It’d be nice to have a bigger one, but the walls of the shop aren’t elastic, sadly.

I think a young welder should invest one, the future so bright if you learn how to program one you'll have to ware shades.

I was looking at one from a company out of Dallas, can’t remember the name. It was a plug-n-play rig, 4x4, ready to roll as long as you can plug it in. I was fairly serious about too. Then I thought better of it, at least for now. I can farm out any work I need for years for what it costs to install that machine. But one of these days, maybe I can get my hands on a used one.

Subpanel is a basic Square D QO series. I just added on of ►these babies◄ by making a simple cut-out on the front.
