Yes and I am still crying. I moved into a million dollar house and didn't have anywhere to plug it in. That was the best mig I ever ran. I do plan on getting a TIG, I am still in love with the Multimatic 200. I bought out an upholstery shop and the giant sewing machines and want to dabble in that...Bob

Boring? Not on your life. That was a fantastic read, Bob. What a story! Thank you for posting it. Reminded me of my dad's welding career. He talked me out of welding as a career due to the amount of time he spent out in freezing cold, but he loved, lived, and breathed welding, and had a great career at a number of jobs. Unfortunately, years of stick welding stainless back in the 50's with no fume management or protection is most likely what finally killed him years later. I was blessed to be able to learn from him, much of which has been lost due to lack of practice over the intervening 60+ years, but I am still absolutely fascinated and engrossed when it's just you and the puddle in the darkness under the hood, striving to make it perfect. I find a certain mystique to it.
Your story brought it all flooding back. Thank you!

Well, I guess you have to spend a million five to get 240, eh? From here on out, every time I strike an arc with my 185, it'll be in your honor. And ditto what Aeronca said, that's a great story.
