  • Syncrowave 250 DX shows voltage at idle

I bought a used Syncrowave 250 DX last weekend. It had a bad board so I ordered a new one and replaced it. I also ordered a pulser module at the same time.

I got the new board first and installed it. Everything worked great. The pulser came in today and I installed it then buttoned up all the panels. I noticed now that the voltage always shows 59 to 66 volts even at idle instead of ---.

It welds just fine and doesn't seem to have any issues but I am concerned something might be wrong and I don't want to ruin the new PC board.

Serial number is in the LF range and was built in 2005. The new board kit is the updated board with new resister.

    Any help would be great.

    Thanks,

    Jeremy

It's back to normal now. I unplugged everything from the PC board and reseated them. Now it displays the normal --- when just sitting there. I must have had a loose connection somewhere.
