ID:	589690 I need an adjustment knob for my Elite Helmet. I called Airgas & they said I had to buy the entoire headgear set for $27 (+ tax). That seems a little excessive to me and am curious...Can I get JUST the adjustment knob for this helmet? if so, where? Can it be "Jerry-rigged" with something else so it will work? Please Help! Thank You!

Does the manual have a parts list, you could call Miller and ask for the part number?

For the Digital Elite helmet, the adjustment angle stop hardware kit is part number 256178 with a suggested list of $4.59. Thank you.

That's the same hardware kit that has the knob for adjusting head size?

If it didn't have the newer style headgear, I would upgrade it now. Much nicer feel

You would need the complete head gear 256174 which is a list price of 24.49. Your helmet would have the double strap design. Thank you.
