Recently, while trying to stick weld with my XMT, I had a problem getting the electrode to fire ; Had a really weak start, almost like striking an arc without the ground . After switching the toggle switches to A/V (A), control to panel, and output contactor on, and switching back and forth a few times, it fired and the welds were smooth, starting was normal, and worked fine. Any clue as to what may have caused this problem ? The unit was sitting unused for 2 months, but never had the problem in the 15 years I had and used the machine. Thanks!
