  • Bobcat 225NT

i have a bobcat 225nt. I'm having a hard time with the idle up/ idle down. Does anyone know the correct wiring for PC1. There are 2 wires not listed on the diagram. They both look like they have 33 printed on them.

Wire #33 is Miller's chassis ground and many of the Bobcat 225NT wiring diagrams are missing a vital piece of information that makes it confusing. That is, #33 goes to idler module terminal "E" which is likely a junction point for those two #33 wires and the missing piece of information in those drawings.

Thanks for the info. Got it installed and it worked. My problem now is I cant get the idle to go back down once it is up. It idles fine, raises up when under a load but wont go back down. I have 13.8 volts going to the throttle selenoid and if i give it a little tap it will suck in and drop the idle but only if i tap it.

The solenoid may be out of position. The plunger must be bottomed out in the solenoid body when energized and its position adjusted to give the correct low idle speed. The plunger can't be too far out or it won't pull in properly.

There could be a little bit of rust on the plunger too if the boot is torn or cracked moisture gets in there and the rust can hang them up .

Yes, rust could be a factor too but I've never seen a boot on a Bobcat idler solenoid.
