Well I can't get the video to upload.. but here's a couple pics of the first arc I've struck on anything but a flux core 110v unit in over 10 years...

Definitely need to get my sea legs back, but they'll hold.

It lives!!!! Went ahead and replaced my diodes on the bridge rectifier. Put everything back together, grabbed a rod and BAM! Off she went.

    Thanks for the help guys!

    Little update..

Waiting on my Kill-a-Watt meter to arrive because apparently none of the stores around have them in stock.

But I finally found my multimeter the other day and started testing some things. Found that at least two of the diodes on the bridge rectifier are shorted. The other two I'm not positive (tested 3 times, each time was a different result).

So I'll be hunting down and ordering those now I suppose.

    Alright, update.

Cleaned the brushes, slip rings and cleared the tap bands on the resistor of all rust. But, no dice. Still only getting spark, no arc.
